Swish
Swish is a popular Swedish mobile payment method, created by the country's major banks and connected directly to users' bank accounts. Customers approve each payment in the Swish app on their phone, making it a fast and familiar way to pay online throughout Sweden. Swish processes in Swedish kronor (SEK) only.

How your customer pays with Swish
On a desktop, the Swish QR code is shown in the Rootline checkout. Your customer scans it with the Swish app on their phone and approves the payment there. On a phone, your customer is taken straight into the Swish app, approves the payment, and returns to the checkout.
Because the payment is approved in the app rather than on a payment page, there is no redirect to Swish.
Create a seamless Swish flow with the Payments API
In The Payment API section we explain how the Payments API can be leveraged to create a Swish flow.
Checkout integration
Let Rootline handle the payment method selection. You initiate the payment by simply sending a payment request with below details. Note that Swish is settled in Swedish kronor, so the payment currency must be SEK.
The API will return a next_action object with a checkout_url. This url leads your customer to the Rootline checkout page, where they can select their payment method and further payment details.
